I think if one were to have asked me "who are you?" a few years ago, I might have had an answer, but it most likely would have been a long drawn out one. Now, to answer that question, I need only think of one word. Who am I and what am I about? In one word, I am LOVE. Now that may seem cliche and banal, but I'm afraid it's true. I have come to the realization, after spending a rather extensive amount of time through the way of my life experiences, that in the deepest, most inherent, innate part of my being - as a human being - I am ultimately LOVE - expressed. I'm an extremely spiritual sort of person because I understand that all of us here in the world are first spiritual beings and that you and me, the "us" that is "we", were all created from a single act of unconditional LOVE, and that is why I know it is so essential in living a happy life to LOVE our Selves enough, and to have good self-esteem: because to deny to ourselves that unconditional LOVE, is to deny the very wisdom that created all of us; and we make that decision everyday of our lives mostly out of fear. Now, I don't mean to sound pietistic or preachy, but for myself I know that I've always been the sort of guy that being giving of myself, of anything I had of possession, mind, or heart, always felt so much better than receiving. I tend to be the rock in relationships - people depend on me. Thoughtful and caring, I often put others needs first. I'm not content to help those I know... I want to give to the world. An idealist, I strive for positive change and dream about how much better things could be.
